Job summary

BDO USA is seeking an Associate for Cyber Security and Compliance to assist with information and data risk advisory services on client projects and internal initiatives. You will work with experienced professionals on compliance projects, cyber maturity assessments, and operationalizing client processes and controls.

The role requires strong communication, analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Information Technology or Computer Science, required.
• Three months of IT compliance or security experience preferred.
• Strong communication and analytical skills required.

Responsibilities

• Participates in engagement projects in consultation with other team members.
• Assists with PCI, NIST, CIS, HIPAA readiness reports and related tasks.
• Drafts presentations of BDO work product to client.
• Identifies and prioritizes initial risks and assesses impact and likelihood.
• Prepares client reports highlighting work performed and recommendations.
• Coordinates with other BDO practices on technical issues and due diligence components.
• Travel required as necessary.
• Other duties as required.
