Regions Bank is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to analyze cybersecurity information and risks with a proactive mindset and willingness to learn core security principles. You will work with Cyber Security/Technology teams to document risks and support remediation activities.

The role involves threat hunting, incident response on rotation, and maintaining thorough records. On-site locations include Birmingham, Atlanta, and Nashville, with regular in-office expectations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with at least six years in InfoSec or IT.
• Two or more relevant certifications or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Willingness to work a pre-determined shift with rotation on-call.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and respond to cyber threats using documented procedures.
• Collaborate with Cyber Security/Technology stakeholders to document risks.
• Support remediation and improve analysis precision.
• Review policies, standards, and procedures for process improvements.
• Assist with threat hunting, tabletop exercises, and incident response on rotation.
• Maintain meticulous records with RCA, IOC, and timelines.
• Stay updated on global cyber threat trends.
• Document security posture and identify gaps with IOC analysis.
• Participate in security assessments and penetrations as needed.
• Mentor junior analysts and participate in special projects.
