Job summary

Regions Bank is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to analyze, document, and remediate cybersecurity risks. The role requires proactiveness, understanding of core technology, and industry best practices for investigation and escalation.

Primary responsibilities include threat analysis across security tools, collaboration with Cyber Security teams, and participation in incident response on a rotational basis. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security or related field.
• Relevant certifications such as Network+/Security+/CEH preferred.
• Ability to obtain required certifications within 12 months may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and respond to cyber threats within security tools following documented procedures.
• Collaborate with Cyber Security/Technology stakeholders to document and communicate security risks.
• Support incident response, threat hunting, and tabletop exercises as needed.
• Maintain meticulous records of work, including root cause analysis and remediation steps.
• Stay informed on global cybersecurity threat trends and improve analysis accuracy.
