Job summary

Regions is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to analyze, identify and document cybersecurity information and risks. The role requires proactiveness and understanding of core technology and cybersecurity principles to investigate, remediate and escrow for evaluation.

Primary responsibilities include analyzing threats, collaborating with stakeholders, supporting threat hunting, and maintaining detailed records.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and six (6) years of related post-secondary education and/or experience in Information Security or IT.
• Minimum of two relevant certifications in Information Security or the ability to obtain within twelve months (e.g., CEH, CISSP, CCNA-Security, GIAC).
• Willingness to work pre-determined shift and rotational on call.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and respond to cyber threats using documented procedures.
• Collaborate with Cyber Security/Technology teams to document and communicate security risks.
• Support threat hunting and incident response on a rotational basis.
• Maintain meticulous records of investigations, including root cause analysis and IOC details.
• Stay updated on global cybersecurity threat trends and best practices.
• Assist with Security assessments and documentation of security posture.
