Computer Enterprises Inc is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst II to support the client’s Cyber Security Program with emphasis on CIP-007 R2 patch management, vulnerability processes, and security readiness. This contract (W2 only) role is based in Akron, OH with a primarily remote setup plus hybrid work and limited travel across the client’s service territory.

You will help maintain NERC CIP compliance, contribute to security baselines and procedures, and support activities protecting cyber

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional work experience in cyber or information security.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to present to diverse audiences.
• Ability to translate technical output into clear reports and action plans.
• Ability to work independently within defined objectives and parameters.
• Experience leading ad-hoc project task teams and collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
• Comfort with on-call rotation and after-hours support.

Responsabilités

• Maintain and support Cyber Security Program to protect cyber assets.
• Monitor CIP-007 R2 patch management processes and tools.
• Support compliance with NERC CIP, focusing on the Bulk Electric System.
• Develop and maintain security baselines, procedures, and strategies.
• Collaborate with Business Units and IT on security for on-premise and cloud/SaaS solutions.
• Participate in Cyber Incident Response and Security Awareness training.
• Understand vulnerability processes and manage patch lifecycle; conduct assessments.
• Assist with security capital projects and vendor reviews; support standards against best practices.
