AptNexus is seeking a Cybersecurity Compliance Analyst II to support a government cybersecurity program. You will evaluate submissions against NIST controls (SP 800-53) and RMF, lead complex reviews, and guide peers toward consistent determinations.

The role emphasizes detailed written responses, evidence-based assessments, and maintaining thorough records while working remotely in the United States. Occasional travel may be required.

Formación

• Three to five years of cybersecurity compliance experience or related field.
• Experience evaluating POA&Ms, SSPs or control evidence.
• Familiarity with NIST SP 800-53 and RMF; ability to apply controls.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate corrective action plans and POA&Ms with evidence.
• Recommend follow-on actions to close findings.
• Review SSPs and evidence against NIST controls.
• Prepare written responses to technical inquiries and participate in calls.
• Evaluate advance notifications and provide guidance.
• Request missing documentation and track responses to closure.
• Track reviews, due dates, and deadlines.
• Use templates and Excel tools to support reviews.
• Perform complex reviews with minimal oversight.
• Peer-review Level I work and guide others on controls.
• Maintain records in the customer case management system.
• Comply with security, privacy, and records requirements using gov equipment.
