As a key member of our Zscaler team, you will help clients understand and manage their Enterprise Identity environments, evaluate, improve, and develop innovative solutions, processes, and policies tailored to their Zero Trust needs. This role allows you to leverage your technical and business skills to impact global cybersecurity positively.

The opportunity

The Senior Zscaler Engineer will oversee the deployment, management, and optimization of Zscaler security solutions. Responsibilities include collaborating with various teams to ensure network security and performance, conducting risk assessments, and managing security incidents.

Our Zero Trust services help clients align security strategies with business goals, managing access and enforcing policies with support from third-party vendors. Our services include strategy, assessment, testing, and implementation of Zero Trust solutions.

Your Key Responsibilities

  1. Design, implement, and manage Zscaler security solutions to safeguard our network infrastructure.
  2. Monitor and adjust security configurations for Zscaler services.
  3. Conduct security assessments and audits regularly.
  4. Work with IT and network teams to ensure secure deployment and management.
  5. Respond to security incidents involving Zscaler solutions.
  6. Implement and oversee security policies within Zscaler platform.
  7. Ensure compliance with regulations like GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2.
  8. Provide training on Zscaler security best practices.
  9. Stay updated on Zscaler security trends, threats, and technologies.

Skills and Attributes for Success

  • Strong understanding of Zscaler solutions, including ZIA and ZPA.
  • Experience managing Zscaler services.
  • Knowledge of network security best practices and standards.
  • Ability to implement security controls in network environments.
  • Understanding of network security principles.
  • Experience with firewalls, VPNs, network segmentation.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Critical thinking and data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent documentation skills.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in network security or related roles.
  • Knowledge of Zscaler solutions and features.
  • Experience with network security tools and standards.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2).
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Relevant certifications (Zscaler Certified Cloud Professional, CISSP, etc.) are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications in Zscaler, such as Zscaler for Users - Essentials.
  • Experience with additional cloud security tools (CSPM, Data Protection, AI).
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Deep understanding of Zscaler architecture and deployment.
  • Scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
