As a key member of our Zscaler team, you will help clients understand and manage their Enterprise Identity environments. Your expertise will be crucial in evaluating, improving, and designing innovative solutions, processes, and policies to meet each client's Zero Trust needs. The Opportunity

The Senior Zscaler Engineer will oversee the implementation, management, and optimization of Zscaler security solutions. This includes working with various teams to ensure network security and performance, conducting risk assessments, and responding to security incidents.

Our Zero Trust services assist clients in aligning security strategies with business goals, managing access, and enforcing policies. We collaborate with third-party vendors to provide comprehensive services, including strategy, assessment, testing, and deployment of Zero Trust solutions.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and manage Zscaler security solutions.
  • Monitor and configure Zscaler services.
  • Conduct security assessments and audits.
  • Collaborate with IT and network teams for secure deployment.
  • Respond to security incidents involving Zscaler.
  • Implement and manage security policies within Zscaler.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations like GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2.
  • Train internal teams on Zscaler security best practices.
  • Stay updated on Zscaler security trends and threats.
Skills and Attributes for Success
  • Strong understanding of Zscaler solutions, including ZIA and ZPA.
  • Experience configuring and managing Zscaler services.
  • Knowledge of network security best practices and standards.
  • Ability to implement security controls and understand network principles.
  • Experience with firewalls, VPNs, segmentation.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Critical thinking and data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent documentation skills.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Security, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in network security or related roles.
  • Strong knowledge of Zscaler solutions and features.
  • Experience with security tools and technologies.
  • Familiarity with compliance standards like GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2.
  • Understanding of network security, IAM, and encryption.
  • Problem-solving and collaboration skills.
  • Relevant certifications such as Zscaler Certified Cloud Professional (ZCCP), CISSP, or equivalent are a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certifications in Zscaler, like Zscaler for Users - Essentials.
  • Knowledge of additional cloud security tools like CSPM, Data Protection, AI.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.
  • Deep knowledge of Zscaler architecture and deployment.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, Bash for automation.
