Job summary

Nightwing is seeking a network engineer to design, implement, and support lab network infrastructure for a U.S. Government customer. Responsibilities include evaluating topology, implementing security controls, and enabling secure VPN/VDI access across macOS and iOS platforms.

The role requires DoD-related experience, an active clearance or ability to obtain DHS suitability, and strong collaboration across distributed locations. Nightwing values teamwork and rigorous problem solving.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of directly relevant experience in network administration
• Proficiency with multiple OS including Linux/Unix and MacOS
• Strong knowledge of routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs
• Experience with virtual desktops (Citrix, VMware)

Responsibilities

• Design and implement infrastructure solutions to support mission execution.
• Integrate new technologies and SOPs in lab environments.
• Assess networks, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend security best practices.
• Provide VPN/VDI support across platforms including MacOS and iOS.
• Troubleshoot network issues and maintain backups and security.
