Job summary

Nightwing seeks a Lab Manager to sustain and enhance lab operations for DoD-related cyber and IT environments in Arlington, VA. You will manage provisioning, access, and maintenance of lab equipment and software, while supporting users across the lab staff and partners.

Strong communication and cross-team collaboration are essential. Responsibilities include hardware provisioning, VPN/VDI support, asset inventory, user guidance, and Apple platform administration.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Active DoD Secret clearance; TS/SCI eligibility desired.
• DHS suitability must be obtainable.
• 2+ years in lab management or systems administration.
• Experience with Linux/Unix and MacOS.
• Experience imaging Apple hardware for deployment.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Proven ability to work with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Providing support to lab staff for provisioning equipment and maintaining inventory.
• Provision and support VPN/VDI (Cisco, Citrix, VMware, AWS) for users.
• Inventory IT assets including hardware and software licenses.
• Provide guidance to users in accessing lab resources; timely response.
• Administer and maintain Apple hardware and macOS environments.
