Job summary

Solutions³ LLC is supporting a U.S. Government customer with onsite incident response for civilian agencies and critical asset owners.

The Incident Manager II will characterize breach severity, develop mitigation plans, and assist with restoration of services. The role requires strong incident management experience, familiarity with NIST/FISMA standards, and the ability to work across locations.

Qualifications

Must be a US Citizen.
Must have an active TS/SCI clearance.
Must be able to obtain DHS Suitability prior to starting employment.
2+ years of directly relevant experience in cyber incident management or cybersecurity operations.

Responsibilities

Correlating incident data to identify trends in reported incidents.
Recommending defense in depth principles and practices.
Performing Computer Network Defense incident triage to determine scope, urgency, and impact.
Researching known resolution steps to mitigate incidents.
Applying cybersecurity concepts to detection and defense of intrusions across IT networks.
Monitoring external data sources to stay current on CND threats.
Identifying cause of incidents and key questions for background awareness.
Receiving and analyzing network alerts from various sources to determine causes.
Tracking CND incidents from detection to final resolution with coordination across teams.
Providing support during assigned shift (Shift 2, M-F 1400-2200).
