Job summary

EY is seeking an experienced Manager to lead client engagements handling cyber incidents and data breaches. You will oversee post-incident response, coordinate multi-team remediation efforts, and communicate with executives and stakeholders.

Suitable candidates have 5–8 years in cyber incident response, strong regulatory knowledge, and the ability to manage complex, high-stakes programs with a focus on quality and client value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, cybersecurity or related field
• 5–8 years of experience in cyber incident response, data breach response, digital forensics, privacy/cybersecurity consulting, or risk advisory
• Strong written and verbal communication with executive-level stakeholders
• Willingness to travel and work extended hours when necessary
• Knowledge of privacy laws and electronic discovery considerations

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end breach response engagements following containment and forensics
• Assess impacted data and determine exposure of sensitive or personal information
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across cybersecurity, privacy, legal, and compliance
• Advise on notification and regulatory reporting obligations
• Develop executive reports, regulatory submissions, and board communications
• Guide remediation planning and control enhancements
• Manage large multi-workstream engagements under tight deadlines
• Mentor engagement teams to ensure quality client deliverables
