Job summary

Aristocrat Gaming in Las Vegas is seeking a Cyber Security Operations Analyst to protect our gaming environment, monitor threats, and drive security programs. You will work with CrowdStrike, Palo Alto, and Rubrik to develop metrics and communicate results to leadership.

The role requires 3+ years in security operations, a hybrid in-person schedule in Las Vegas, and the ability to obtain gaming licenses. This is a pivotal position for safeguarding our sophisticated gaming infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in information security, CS or related field.
• 3+ years hands-on cybersecurity/security operations experience.
• Experience with CrowdStrike, Palo Alto, and Rubrik in production.
• Knowledge of security monitoring, endpoint protection, firewall administration, and backup/recovery operations.
• Experience in a true 24/7 operational environment.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and reporting skills.
• Ability to work hybrid in Las Vegas with required in-office time.
• Ability to acquire and maintain required gaming licenses.

Responsibilities

• Stay current on emerging cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, attack methods, and industry trends as a subject matter expert.
• Define, communicate, and champion the cybersecurity vision and roadmap for the Technology Services Network Support environment.
• Evaluate and engage with vendors and OEMs to ensure alignment with cybersecurity requirements (CrowdStrike, Palo Alto, Rubrik).
• Develop, track, and present performance metrics showing effectiveness of cybersecurity controls and policies.
• Present high-level cybersecurity strategies and outcomes to senior leadership with understanding of gaming infrastructure.
• Develop a deep understanding of gaming network vs core IT infrastructure to inform security decisions.
• Monitor alerts, logs, and platform health across endpoints, network, and backup systems.
• Investigate, triage, document security incidents and operational issues with auditable deliverables.
• Support WAN-connected gaming operations through issue isolation and technical response.
• Build and maintain automation for monitoring, alerting, and reporting.
• Maintain runbooks, procedures, incident records, and audit-ready documentation.
• Support compliance in a highly regulated gaming environment.
