Job summary

180 Seminole Hard Rock Support Services seeks a motivated Cybersecurity Analyst I to join our cybersecurity team. The role focuses on monitoring, investigating, and responding to security events while improving processes and playbooks.

You will collaborate across IT and security teams to protect systems and data. The position requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, basic security fundamentals, and a willingness to pursue relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, CS, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity, networking, operating systems, and IT environments.
• Familiarity with security monitoring, incident response, or information security concepts.
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and review cybersecurity events and activities for potential security concerns.
• Perform triage and investigation of security alerts, events, and reported incidents.
• Document findings, actions taken, and investigation results in accordance with established procedures.
• Support cybersecurity incident response activities, including investigation, containment, remediation, and recovery efforts.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support the security of organizational systems, applications, and information assets.
• Assist with the evaluation and improvement of security monitoring and response processes.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of operational documentation, procedures, and playbooks.
• Stay current with emerging cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends.
• Participate in audits, compliance activities, training, and other cybersecurity initiatives.
• Perform other team related responsibilities and assignments as needed.
