Job summary

Ascot Group is seeking a Cyber Offense Analyst to help drive its cybersecurity objectives. The role involves hands-on offensive security across a global environment, delivering outcomes on weaknesses and threats while supporting day-to-day processes.

The position is office-based with a hybrid work schedule. You will engage in vulnerability scanning, testing, and remediation efforts, and collaborate with security leadership to build metrics and improve risk reduction across Ascot Group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in CS, App Development, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in application or network security role.
• Experience with offensive security and vulnerability tooling (Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nmap, Wireshark, Tenable).
• Experience using AI-assisted security tooling to support vulnerability discovery and remediation validation.
• Knowledge of OWASP, MITRE ATT&CK framework, CVSS/CVE, and SDLC integration.
• Ability to automate offensive workflows using Python, PowerShell, or Bash.

Responsibilities

• Perform cyber offense functions including vulnerability scanning, coordination of penetration testing activities, remediation oversight, and continuous monitoring.
• Assist in delivering a comprehensive offensive security strategy identifying vulnerabilities and exposures.
• Implement best-in-class tooling to achieve cyber offense objectives.
• Manage vulnerability detection, patch management, and application security programs.
• Support penetration testing, purple and red team exercises, and remediation validation.
• Coordinate penetration testing activities and consult on remediation actions.
