Qualifications

• Experience reviewing IT-related work to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency with standards
• Ability to maintain relationships with customers and identify IT products/services to meet needs
• Ability to brief mid-level management and IT staff on status of IT systems and projects, including technical info to non-technical audiences
• Experience guiding federal personnel, contractors, and vendors on system modifications, hardware/software integration, and OS configurations

Responsibilities

• Serve as principal technical authority and lead specialist to manage customer computing requirements for assigned systems and applications
• Prepare analyses and briefings on new tech developments to improve time and cost efficiencies
• Provide guidance on information security policies to ensure availability and integrity of enterprise applications, systems, networks, and data
• Define and validate needs for proposed new or improved systems through consultation with program officials
• Serve as primary liaison or project manager with internal/external customers on IT development matters and performance metrics
