Job summary

The Options Clearing Corporation (OCC) is seeking a Year-round Cyber Defense intern in Chicago. The program targets rising seniors or graduate students, open to undergrad and grad students with a 1,000-hour cap, working up to 20 hours per week during the school year and up to 40 hours per week in the summer.

The internship operates in a hybrid work environment with anchor in-office days. Interns will learn across Cyber Defense workflows, monitoring, and tool integrations to gain real-world

Qualifications

• Rising senior or second-year graduate student, graduating December 2027 or May/August 2028.
• Preferred majors: Computer Science, Cyber Security.
• Technical skills: Programming, automation, AI, software development.
• Additional qualifications: knowledge in streamlining processes, project analysis, technical report writing.
• Interest in Cyber Defense internship role.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing current workflow to identify opportunities for improvement or automation.
• Assisting in the monitoring analysis activities.
• Help with security tool integrations.
