Job summary

Reliance Test & Technology, LLC seeks an Information Security Analyst to support the Atlantic Test Range in Patuxent River, Maryland. This full-time role focuses on cyber defense, monitoring, vulnerability assessment, and incident response within a DoD environment.

You will implement security tools, document CONOPS, coordinate with government personnel, and maintain compliance with DoD cyber policies. A BS degree and DoD clearance eligibility are required along with hands-on DoD security

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Computer Science, Computer Programming, Cybersecurity, or Engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of three (3) years of work experience at Journeyman level; no experience required for Junior level.
• DoD/DoN Cybersecurity workforce policy requirements (DoD 8570.01-M/8140.01/SECNAV 5239.2)

Responsibilities

• Provide timely detection, identification, and response of possible attacks/intrusions, anomalous activities, and misuse activities and distinguish these incidents and events from benign activities
• Implement and manage multiple security tools to include SIEM's, firewalls, IDS/IPS's, threat and vulnerability management tools, data loss prevention tools, filtering technologies, traffic inspection solutions, reporting technology, and data analytics platforms
• Use cyber defense tools for continual monitoring and analysis of systems to identify malicious activity
• Assess system vulnerabilities for security risks and direct development of mitigation strategies
• Review vulnerability data, security documentation, risk assessments, and authorization artifacts for technical quality
• Document cyber defense related CONOPS, procedures, and diagrams
• Coordinate with Government technical personnel, program leadership, and contractor team members on cyber risk and authorization matters
