Job summary

InDyne, a full-service military, civilian and commercial operations company, is seeking a cybersecurity professional for the Atlantic Test Range in Patuxent River, Maryland. The role emphasizes timely threat detection, vulnerability management, and coordination with DoD personnel.

You will implement security tools, analyze system activity, and develop mitigation strategies within a fast-paced technical environment. A clear path for advancement exists based on experience and certifications.

Qualifications

• BS degree in CS, cybersecurity, or engineering from an accredited college.
• Minimum 3 years of work experience for Journeyman level; no experience for Junior.
• In lieu of BS, HS diploma with 9 years of experience or Associate degree with 7 years.
• Must meet DoD/DoN cybersecurity workforce policy requirements.
• Experience with DoD programs and STIG implementation and ACAS vulnerability scanning.
• Experience using Visio or equivalent for architecture/data flow diagrams.
• Technical experience in system/network administration or software development desired.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and pass a drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Detect, identify, and respond to attacks, intrusions, and anomalous activities.
• Implement and manage SIEMs, firewalls, IDS/IPS, vulnerability tools, and data analytics platforms.
• Use cyber defense tools for continuous monitoring and analysis of systems.
• Assess vulnerabilities and direct mitigation strategies.
• Review vulnerability data, security docs, risk assessments, and authorization artifacts.
• Document CONOPS, procedures, and diagrams related to cyber defense.
• Coordinate with government personnel, program leadership, and contractor team on cyber risk.
