Indyne Corporation in Patuxent River, Maryland, seeks a full-time cybersecurity professional to support the Atlantic Test Range. The role focuses on detecting and responding to cyber threats, managing SIEMs and security tooling, and ensuring DoD cybersecurity compliance.

Candidates should have a BS in CS/Cybersecurity or related field, or equivalent experience, with DoD 8570/8140 familiarity, and US citizenship. A security clearance is required or obtainable.

Qualifications

• Must have a BS Degree in a Computer Science, Computer Programming, Cybersecurity, or Engineering discipline from an accredited college or university
• Experience in supporting DoD programs and systems with STIG implementation and ACAS/vulnerability scanning
• Experience using Microsoft Visio or equivalent tools for architecture and data flow diagrams
• Technical experience in system administration, network administration, or software development desired

Responsabilités

• Provide timely detection, identification, and response of possible attacks/intrusions, anomalous activities, and misuse activities
• Implement and manage multiple security tools including SIEMs, firewalls, IDS/IPS, threat and vulnerability management tools, data loss prevention tools, and data analytics platforms
• Use cyber defense tools for continual monitoring and analysis of systems to identify malicious activity
• Assess system vulnerabilities for security risks and direct development of mitigation strategies
• Review vulnerability data, security documentation, risk assessments, and authorization artifacts for technical quality
• Document cyber defense CONOPS, procedures, and diagrams
• Coordinate with Government technical personnel, program leadership, and contractor team members on cyber risk and authorization matters
