Job summary

Deloitte & Touche LLP is seeking a Cyber Data Protection Manager to guide data protection programs for leading clients in a complex digital landscape. You will design, implement, and operate security and privacy controls to reduce data risk and enable secure growth.

You will lead engagements, mentor teams, manage budgets, and collaborate with IT, legal, and executives while staying current on privacy regulations and data protection technologies.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in data protection and information security.
• 3+ years developing data protection strategies/roadmaps.
• 3+ years hands-on experience with two or more data protection techs.
• Experience with collaboration security and SharePoint security controls.
• Hands-on with Microsoft Purview and DLP capabilities.
• Knowledge of AI security and governance concepts.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel 25–50% and potential for sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME and trusted advisor on data protection needs.
• Assist clients in designing, implementing, and operating protection solutions.
• Lead engagements and drive on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Mentor junior staff to develop skills and growth.
• Manage proposal development and client communications.
• Stay current on cyber risk, data protection, and emerging tech.
