Job summary

Deloitte is seeking a Data Privacy Manager to lead discovery, design, and implementation of privacy technology solutions in San Francisco. You will help organizations address regulatory requirements, strengthen data governance, and enable trusted business outcomes.

You will contribute configuration, integration, testing, and deployment activities while working with client, vendor, and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or similar Engineering discipline
• 7+ years of experience in software design, architecture development, and technology implementation
• 4+ years of experience with Data Privacy principles such as Privacy Impact Assessment, Data Inventory, Privacy Breach Management, Data Subject Rights, Notice & Policy Management, Consent & Preference Management, Cookie Management
• Ability to travel 25-75%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
• Experience leading collaborative efforts across organizational silos and multifunctional teams

Responsibilities

• Design privacy technology strategies with clients to identify gaps enabling future state goals.
• Lead sessions with stakeholders to gather requirements and inform future state architecture.
• Navigate complex IT architectures to incorporate privacy technology solutions.
• Configure, integrate, test, and deploy privacy tools to automate capabilities and enhance customer experiences.
• Manage project activities across the SDLC and lead cross-functional client teams.
