Job summary

Deloitte & Touche LLP invites an experienced Cyber Data Protection Manager to lead data protection and privacy engagements for Clients. You will guide teams, design protective controls, and collaborate with legal and business stakeholders to reduce risk and enable secure growth.

Responsibilities include mentoring staff, driving proposals, and staying ahead of evolving regulations and technologies. Travel 25–50% may be required in a consulting context.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience in data protection and information security, including data discovery, classification, and rights management
• 3+ years designing and operating data protection services and roadmaps
• 3+ years hands-on experience with two or more data protection technologies
• Experience with SharePoint security and data access governance controls
• Experience with Microsoft Purview and related data security capabilities
• Knowledge of AI security and governance concepts for data protection
• Ability to lead cross-functional client engagements and manage project plans

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME and trusted advisor to clients on data protection needs
• Design, implement and operate data protection tech and processes
• Develop requirements and evaluate vendor solutions for data protection
• Lead client engagements and drive on-time, on-budget delivery
• Mentor junior staff and develop skills through feedback and guidance
• Manage proposal development and process
• Contribute to Deloitte thought leadership in client organizations
• Foster an inclusive, collaborative, high-performing team environment
• Stay current on industry trends in cyber risk and data protection
