Job summary

Peraton is seeking an experienced Case Management – Mid-level Process Assurance Analyst for its Federal Strategic Cyber sector, located on-site at DHS HQ in Washington, DC. The role entails leading small projects, coordinating across lines, and developing the incident lifecycle from intake to closure.

You will draft SOPs and operations documentation, ensure effective incident processes, and identify workflow improvements.

Qualifications

• BS/BA with 5 years of related experience, or MS/MA with 3 years of related experience, or PhD.
• An additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Experience leading projects or project steps within a broader project or have accountability for ongoing activities or objectives.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, receiving minimal guidance.
• Demonstrated understanding of organizational structure and alignment to business operations.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Active Top Secret Security Clearance w/ SCI eligibility and ability to obtain DHS background investigation (EOD).
• Security+ and ITIL Foundation certifications are preferred when applicable.

Responsibilities

• Lead small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements.
• Interact with senior customer personnel on significant matters.
• Coordinate activity across organizational lines.
• Develop the process of incident intake, triage, assignment, tracking, closing, and finalization.
• Draft organizational documentation such as Concept of Operations and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Ensure practical implementation of incident reporting processes, staffing, and technologies.
• Identify opportunities to improve incident handling and workflows.
• Document challenges and coordinate across teams to identify improvements.
• Understand cyber, physical, and communications incident trends and reporting functions.
• Correlate potential threat activities to inform senior decision makers.
• Ensure timely response to internal and external partners.
