Job summary

EY is seeking a Manager in Attack & Penetration Testing to lead offensive security engagements, guide teams, and deliver actionable findings to clients. The role emphasizes mentoring, collaboration with cross‑functional teams, and staying ahead of evolving threats. Travel up to 50% is expected.

You will oversee penetration testing programs, develop reports for technical and executive audiences, and help shape EY’s cybersecurity offerings across multiple industries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering or related field with 6+ years of experience, or Master’s with 3–4+ years in penetration testing.
• Experience managing and executing penetration testing projects.
• Experience with manual attack and penetration testing.
• Experience leading Red Team or application penetration testing programs.
• Scripting/Programming skills (Python, PowerShell, Java, Perl, etc.).
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Identify threats and vulnerabilities in enterprise environments.
• Lead technical teams in penetration testing, red team, and purple team exercises.
• Deliver clear, concise reports to technical and executive audiences.
• Mentor analysts and foster a collaborative, high‑performance culture.
• Stay current with cyber threats and industry best practices.
• Manage multiple projects within defined rules of engagement.
