Leidos is seeking a Software Developer Intern for Summer 2027 in its Intel Sector's Cyber & Analytics Business Area (CABA). You will work on a large, agile software program using BDD and test automation, contributing to code development, reviews, and tech prototyping.

This is a full-time summer role with potential part-time during the academic year. The internship emphasizes modern software engineering practices, collaboration across teams, and exposure to DevOps, with opportunities to work on

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program (Junior or Senior) in CS/Engineering or related field.
• Experience with Java, C++, or Python in academic or project settings.
• Strong problem solving and debugging skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• U.S. Citizenship required; ability to obtain TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.

Responsabilités

• Complete software development tasks individually or in an agile team.
• Use design tools and follow formal specifications to ensure quality, reliability, and reusability.
• Participate in peer code reviews and contribute to code quality improvements.
• Develop applications or update existing ones based on user requirements.
• Debug, test, and document software; research new technologies for potential adoption.
