Job summary

Simple Modern is seeking a CX Intern to support the day-to-day customer experience, with a primary focus on conversational AI across email, chat, and social. This role helps ensure AI is accurate, helpful, on-brand, and continually improving while supporting broader CX projects, reporting, customer communication, and process improvements.

The CX Intern supports a mission-driven culture and works with the Customer Experience Manager and cross-functional partners to enhance customer interactions

Responsibilities

• AI Management: Help manage and optimize conversational AI across email and chat, with increasing ownership after training.
• Quality Assurance: Review AI conversations to identify inaccuracies, hallucinations, tone issues, knowledge gaps, and escalation opportunities.
• Testing & Optimization: Update and test AI instructions, knowledge, workflows, and new customer experiences.
• Performance Analysis: Monitor CX and AI performance metrics to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
• Customer Communication: Help create, review, and improve proactive customer notifications and service communications to ensure messaging is clear, timely, and on-brand.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with the Social team and participate in conversations with Siena, Order Protection, and other CX partners.
• CX Projects & Process Improvement: Support additional Customer Experience projects, research, documentation, reporting, and process improvements as needs and opportunities arise.
