Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Data Analyst to support Merchant Payment Services by combining advanced analytical capability with a strong customer experience mindset. The role analyzes VoC, operational and behavioral data to identify trends and opportunities across the MPS journey.

The ideal candidate will design analyses with Python/SQL, build dashboards, and translate findings into actionable recommendations for stakeholders and leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Five to seven years of statistical and/or data analytics experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL; experience with R, SAS, SPSS is beneficial.
• Hands-on experience designing, analyzing and interpreting A/B tests.
• Experience with advanced analytics including regression, segmentation and forecasting.
• Experience with Voice of Customer and CX measurement (CSAT, NPS, CES).
• Experience with Qualtrics or similar VoC platform.
• Strong data visualization and storytelling with Power BI and advanced Excel/PowerPoint.
• Master’s degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Acquire, integrate, validate and analyze large or complex datasets.
• Apply statistical methods to answer business questions and trends.
• Design and evaluate A/B tests and experiments with proper interpretation.
• Use Python, SQL and tools to prepare data and automate analyses.
• Conduct driver analysis, segmentation, forecasting and predictive modeling.
• Analyze VoC and CX data to identify needs and gaps across journeys.
• Create executive-ready insights and prioritized recommendations.
• Develop dashboards and recurring reporting for stakeholders.
• Monitor results and adjust based on evidence.
