Job summary

Huckeye Health Services LLC seeks a Certified Wound & Ostomy Nurse (CWON) to serve as a clinical resource for ostomy care, wounds, and skin integrity in both inpatient and outpatient settings. You will provide direct wound and ostomy care and educate patients and families around procedures and care plans.

The role requires an active California RN license, CWON certification, and a minimum of four years of clinical nursing experience, including two years in wound/ostomy care.

Qualifications

• Active California RN license (in good standing).
• CWON certification is required.
• Minimum four years of clinical nursing experience.
• Two years of wound and ostomy care experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage pressure injuries (Stage III or above).
• Evaluate hospital-acquired pressure injuries (HAPIs) and ensure reporting.
• Implement strategies to reduce and prevent HAPIs across hospital practices.
• Provide expert wound, ostomy, continence and skin care assessments and plans.
