Job summary

ARServices is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to provide Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) in support of DoD RDT&E programs. The role focuses on planning, execution, and documentation to close capability gaps and advance CWMD-related technologies.

You will develop program plans and acquisition strategies, monitor cost, schedule, and performance, and deliver reports and briefings to support long-range planning and successful program outcomes in a dynamic DoD environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in management, business, or engineering.
• 5+ years in DoD program planning and program management across the Defense Acquisition Life Cycle.
• 5–7 years in DoD RDT&E management.
• Experience with DoD acquisition methods.
• Experience with DoD PPBE processes.
• CWMD mission or technical knowledge.
• Analytical research experience, including assessing threats and conducting market research.

Responsibilities

• Provide program management Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS), including general program management and Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) support for research and development programs in accordance with DoD Directive 5000.01.
• Develop program plans, acquisition strategies, and procurement documents.
• Support the design of the program to meet capability gaps.
• Develop and monitor program plans for assigned projects.
• Prepare and maintain program management execution reports.
• Author correspondence, program briefings, and related products.
• Support overall management of R&D projects related to cost, schedule, and performance.
• Provide general programmatic advice regarding research and development plans and execution.
• Support long-range planning.
• Develop and maintain monthly and annual task status reports, dashboards, and escalation protocols.
• Support strategic planning and policy development.
• All other duties as assigned.
