Job summary

ARServices is actively seeking an Acquisitional Specialist to provide A&AS support to the DTRA RD Directorate. The role focuses on PPBE processes, acquisition planning, and real-time cost/schedule analysis for advanced R&D programs.

Expect collaboration with diverse government and contractor teams to ensure requirements alignment and effective program execution. The candidate should have a DoD program management background, strong writing skills, and extensive MS Office proficiency to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 10 years of relevant experience.
• Outstanding writing and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in, or ability to learn, DoD program management and PPBE processes.
• Fluency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) with superior Excel skills.
• Ability to read contracts, modifications, and contract sections for accuracy and extract metadata for oversight of 20+ contracts.

Responsibilities

• Support DTRA program managers in PPBE process documentation.
• Support advanced technology development RDT&E programs and projects.
• Conduct market research to support acquisition strategy checklists.
• Develop and manage program plans and transition strategies.
• Coordinate with end users and performers to ensure requirements are met.
• Interface with program managers from other departments and partner organizations.
• Maintain and track purchase request packages in the DTRA system.
• Provide real-time analysis of project cost, schedule, and performance.
• Develop project documentation and briefings.
