Job summary

SAIC seeks a CBRN Defense Data Scientist/Computer Scientist to support CWMD modeling and technical analysis for Air Force organizations. Onsite in the Washington, DC area, the role involves running CBRN hazard models and translating outputs into analyst-ready data tables and graphics for operational evaluations.

The candidate will develop and execute batch programs to enable thousands of hazard runs and apply computer modeling to CWMD topics, with a focus on USAFE-AFAFRICA ATSO and CBRN defense

Qualifications

• Doctorate or Masters or Bachelor's with years of related experience as specified in the posting.
• Proficiency in programming for MCO-related modeling and analysis using Python, C++, and Visual Basic.
• Experience providing modeling support for technical analysis of CBRN threats.

Responsibilities

• Act as CWMD modeler, building models of complex systems with CBRN agent effects.
• Extract data from modeling programs to produce analyst-ready tables and graphics.
• Develop batch programs to run thousands of hazard simulations for AF stakeholders.
• Support technical analysis for CWMD topics and provide operator impact insights.
• Assist in interpreting testing results for operational implications.
