Job summary

SAIC seeks a CBRN Defense Scientist to support AF/A10S, AFIMSC, and USAFE-AFAFRICA, performing analyses of CWMD operations and CBRN materials. Onsite work at the Pentagon or Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling is required, with potential off-site locations as needed.

Strong programming and MS Office skills, and Top Secret clearance are essential. The role emphasizes laboratory and field testing, development of performance criteria, and interfacing with aircrew and defense personnel to translate results

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with years of relevant experience.
• Master's degree with multiple years of relevant experience preferred.
• PhD or JD with strong CBRN and analysis background desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical analysis for CWMD operations and CBRN defense domains.
• Advise AF/A10S and USAFE-AFAFRICA on test results and operational implications.
• Apply lab and field testing results to develop CBRN criteria and concepts.
• Analyze evolving CBRN materials and delivery systems for protection effectiveness.
