Job summary

Dynamis, Inc. seeks a CS/CBRN Defense Data Scientist to model complex CWMD and nuclear effects, using Python, C++, and Visual Basic. The role includes extracting data from CBRN tools and delivering user-friendly visuals for analysts, with extensive batch runs across HPAC, VLSTRACK, and HOTSPOT.

You will support technical analysis for AF HQ and USAFE-AFAFRICA, interpreting results for operators and decision-makers, and ensuring secure, compliant data handling at a high security level.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 14+ years related experience or higher degrees with proportional experience.
• Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS
• Subject-matter expert in MCO-related modeling of CBRN materials (HPAC, VLSTRACK, HOTSPOT) and analyzing complex systems (Python, C++, Visual Basic)

Responsibilities

• Model CWMD and nuclear effects under varying weather and combat scenarios.
• Extract and post-process data to create user-friendly tables and graphics showing toxicity over time and area coverage.
• Develop batch programs to run thousands of CBRN hazard simulations efficiently.
• Support technical analysis to inform AF HQ and USAFE-AFAFRICA decisions on operational and scientific testing.
• Translate modeling results into actionable insights for operators and decision-makers.
