Job summary

TechCorr is seeking an experienced Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) to mobilize to its Findlay, OH office for an active project in Lima, OH. This role operates on a 6x10 schedule, inspecting shop and field welding processes to ensure compliance with codes and client standards.

You'll review WPS and PQR documents, read engineering drawings, and document non-conformances, issuing daily reports and maintaining quality records. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Active CWI credential required.
• Strong knowledge of welding processes and metallurgy.
• Ability to read WPS, PQRs, P&IDs and drawings.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and technical welding inspections per codes and client specs.
• Review WPS, PQR, P&IDs, drawings and quality docs.
• Monitor fabrication activities for code compliance.
• Identify non-conformances and document findings.
• Prepare daily inspection reports and maintain records.
• Coordinate with client and project teams to meet safety, quality and schedule.
