SpaceXSI is seeking a Certified Weld Inspector to support the buildout of high-performance data centers. The role inspects welds on industrial piping and structural steel, coordinating with welding, mechanical, structural, and operations teams to ensure quality from construction through turnover.

This is a full-time, onsite position with significant travel to data center sites, an hourly role with overtime, and a strong emphasis on safety and adherence to welding codes and procedures.

Formación

• Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) required.
• Experience inspecting welded industrial piping and structural steel is preferred.
• Willingness to travel extensively to data center sites and work on construction sites.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect welds in progress and at completion against code, WPS, and drawings.
• Interpret AWS, ASME, and project specs against drawings.
• Monitor GTAW, SMAW, FCAW, and GMAW to the qualified welding procedure.
• Verify welder qualifications before release to weld on the package.
• Record inspection results and communicate findings to teams.
• Oversee nondestructive examination and required testing as needed.
• Follow safety rules, hot-work permits, and PPE requirements.
