Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Technical Training Instructor for Completions & Well Intervention (CWI) to design, deliver, and continuously improve technical training programs for CWI, both virtually and in person. You will lead instructional efforts, develop competency programs, and collaborate across functions to ensure accurate, up-to-date content and effective learning experiences.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent with 4+ years of experience) and at least 5 years of CWI/AMO

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Completions & Well Intervention operations, AMO, field service, applications, manufacturing, technical training, or product-line support.
• Extensive experience in CWI operations and Intelligent Production Systems with strong understanding of Baker Hughes CWI products, systems, applications, AMO processes, field execution and competency requirements.
• Willingness to travel in support of training for internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Design and Deliver Training: Analyze learning needs and create effective training solutions for CWI AMO, field, applications, manufacturing, and product-line functions.
• Drive Competency Development: Support development and governance of competency management programs for CWI AMO, field, and manufacturing employees.
• Maintain Training Infrastructure: Ensure training tools, equipment, course materials, simulations, and resources are maintained; conduct inventory to keep resources ready.
• Collaborate Across Functions: Redefine processes and coordinate training rosters, prerequisites, and communication across districts and regions.
• Improve Learning Content: Update course content, quizzes, training aids, and digital materials to align with current CWI products and competency expectations.
