Intertek, a Nationally Recognized Testing Lab (NRTL) and leading provider of quality and safety solutions, is seeking a Certified Welding Inspector to join our Intertek-PSI team in Cleveland, Ohio. The CWI will apply welding process knowledge to ensure weldments meet quality and safety criteria.

The role requires reading drawings, inspecting welds, recording results, and communicating issues. Intertek offers competitive compensation and benefits including 401(k) match, vacation, tuition

Qualificações

• Must have AWS CWI Certification with D1.1 experience.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant welding inspection experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret tolerances.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect structural steel during erection on building sites.
• Perform visual inspections of welded products.
• Record test and inspection results.
• Identify defects such as cracks and porosity.
• Communicate issues and recommend improvements.
