Intertek is seeking a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) for our Kaukauna, WI location. The role involves inspecting structural steel during erection, welding inspections, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. A strong background in AWS D1.1 and 4+ years of relevant experience is required.

Qualifications

• Must have AWS CWI Certification with D1.1 experience.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in welding inspection.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret tolerances.
• Nondestructive testing training or certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with safety and environment guidelines and regulations.
• Inspect structural steel erection and welded products on site.
• Perform visual inspections of welded products in progress and completed jobs.
• Record test results and welding inspection data accurately.
• Issue non-conformances and follow up to close out.
• Communicate findings and recommend process improvements.
