Job summary

Acuren is actively seeking CWI inspectors to support operations across the West Region with a focus on visual inspection and non-destructive examination of pressure retaining equipment. Candidates should hold a valid CWI certification and API 510/570/653 knowledge, with extensive experience under ASME standards.

The role involves reviewing inspection procedures, interpreting specifications, and providing technical direction where needed, including liaison with engineering, quality, and client

Qualifications

• Valid CWI certification.
• Certification of American Petroleum Institute Standards 510/570/653.
• In-depth working knowledge of API 510/570/653/CWI and ASME standards.
• Experience working in direct support of petrochemical facility engineers.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and non-destructive examination of pressure retaining equipment per API/ASME standards.
• Submit technically accurate reports documenting equipment condition.
• Provide technical recommendations for repair, re-rate, replacement, or alteration of plant equipment.
• Provide technical input on welding and metallurgical issues as required.
• Ensure compliance with all safety practices and participate in site safety initiatives.
• Willingness to travel if needed.
