Job summary

Acuren is recruiting a CWI to support our West Region operations, performing visual and NDE inspections on pressure retaining equipment in line with API/ASME standards. You will review reports, provide technical recommendations for repairs, and contribute to weld and metallurgical discussions with clients and engineers.

The role requires extensive certification mastery, on-site experience, and willingness to travel as needed to field sites across the region.

Qualifications

• CWI certification required and API 510/570/653 knowledge.
• 5–6 years' field experience or 6+ years on-site in petrochemical settings.
• Strong working knowledge of API/ASME standards and NDE/NDT methods.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and NDE of pressure retaining equipment per API/ASME.
• Submit technically accurate reports to clients.
• Provide technical recommendations for repair or alteration for safe operation.
• Contribute technical input on welding and metallurgical issues.
• Guide non-destructive examination methods and procedures.
• Adhere to Acuren and client safety practices.
• Travel readiness to support field work.
