Job summary

Acuren Inspection, Inc. is seeking qualified CWI professionals to support our West Region operations. The role involves overseeing visual inspection standards, reviewing procedures, interpreting specifications, and making accept/reject decisions on critical components.

Level III inspectors may lead projects, direct junior inspectors, and communicate with engineering, quality, and client representatives. Extensive experience and mastery of API/ASME standards are required, with willingness to

Qualifications

Valid CWI certification.
API 510/570 certification.
5–6 years' experience or 6+ years on site experience.
API 653 is a plus.
In-depth working knowledge of API 510/570/653/CWI and ASME standards.
Experience supporting petrochemical facility engineers.
Willingness to travel if needed.

Responsibilities

Perform visual and nondestructive examination of pressure retaining equipment per API/ASME standards.
Submit technically accurate reports documenting equipment condition.
Provide technical recommendations for repair, re-rate, replacement or alteration of plant equipment.
Provide technical input on welding and metallurgical issues.
Apply nondestructive examination techniques and procedures.
Comply with safety practices and participate in site safety initiatives.
Willingness to travel if needed.
