Job summary

Mistras Group Inc. is seeking a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) / NDT Inspector for full time, on-site work in Charlotte, NC. The role focuses on welding inspections, NDT testing, and reporting in accordance with AWS codes and customer specs.

Qualifications

• Current AWS CWI certification required.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass background and drug screening and client-specific requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual weld inspections in accordance with AWS codes and customer specifications.
• Conduct NDT inspections following applicable procedures and standards.
• Inspect welds, materials, and components for quality and code compliance.
• Prepare accurate inspection reports and documentation.
• Communicate inspection findings with supervisors and customers.
• Follow all company safety policies and client requirements.
• Maintain certifications and comply with applicable codes and standards.
• Perform other inspection-related duties as assigned.
