Job summary

MISTRAS Group is seeking a qualified NDT CWI/Quality Control Technician in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate will perform welding inspections and nondestructive testing, ensuring compliance with industry codes and customer specs.

Qualifications

• AWS CWI certification required.
• Previous NDT inspection experience required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld procedures, and codes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual weld inspections per AWS, ASME, API and customer specs.
• Support NDT inspections (VT, MT, PT, UT, RT) as qualified.
• Interpret codes, standards and drawings; document inspection findings.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain records.
