Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist with strong CVOR experience to support cardiac cases in a 13-week contract. The role requires readiness for cardiac call and collaboration with the surgical team in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have 18+ months of surgical tech experience, with cardiovascular and vascular surgery exposure and a current BLS certification. NBSTSA or NCCT certifications are preferred but not mandatory.

Day shift: 3x12-Hour (11:00 AM - 11:30 PM). Cardiac call required.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist with strong experience in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) procedures. The candidate will be responsible for providing surgical support during cardiac cases and will assist with other surgical cases as needed. A core requirement is the ability to handle cardiac call responsibilities effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assist during surgical procedures in the CVOR, ensuring a sterile environment.
• Prepare and maintain surgical instruments and equipment.
• Collaborate with surgical teams and communicate effectively with all members of the surgical staff.
• Participate in cardiac call as required.
• Manage and perform other surgical cases when cardiac cases are not available.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
