ARMStaffing in Corpus Christi, TX is seeking experienced CVOR Certified Surgical Technologists focusing on open-heart surgery for a 13-week contract.

You will support the cardiovascular OR, assist with instrumentation, collaborate with surgeons, maintain sterile environment, and participate in on-call rotation and weekend coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification.
• Experience as CVOR scrub tech focusing on open-heart surgery.
• Proficiency with cardiac and vascular procedures.
• Ability to take call and respond promptly when needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with cardiovascular surgical instrumentation and preparation of the operating room.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the surgical team to ensure optimal patient care.
• Maintain sterile environment and adhere to safety protocols throughout surgical procedures.
• Participate in the call rotation, being available to respond within an established call-back timeframe.
• Maintain competencies for cardiovascular surgical procedures and participate in ongoing training.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM. On-call rotation includes some Thursday coverage and weekend call is rotated among team members.

Job Description

We are seeking experienced CVOR Certified Surgical Technologists with a focus on open-heart surgery. The successful candidates will be responsible for providing high-quality support in the cardiovascular operating room during various surgical procedures. This role requires the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with cardiovascular surgical instrumentation and preparation of the operating room.
