Job summary

Banner Wyoming Medical Center is seeking a Senior Surgical Tech for the CVOR/Operating Room in Casper, WY. You will scrub, hand instruments, and assist in busy CVOR, robotic, and bariatric programs, supporting two surgical specialties with a focus on patient safety and efficiency.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, BLS certification, and either Surgical Technologist certification or 2–3 years of experience. Full-time schedule includes 4×10s, with call and weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required; BLS certification required.
• Certified surgical technologist preferred, or 2–3 years of surgical technologist experience.
• Must be able to scrub proficiently in at least two surgical specialties.

Responsibilities

• Scrub and pass instruments, sutures, and supplies during surgery.
• Assist with OR turnover and stocking/replenishing supplies.
• Train and orient new surgical technology staff and students as assigned.
• Follow safety procedures, including correct handling of specimens and sharps.
