Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center in Houston is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to support the operating room team across a range of surgical procedures.

You will prepare the OR, set up instruments, assist the surgical team, and ensure a sterile environment to promote patient safety and positive outcomes. Ideal candidates have verified Surgical Technology credentials, at least 3 years in acute care, and CPR/BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent, continuous experience as a Surgical Technologist in an acute care hospital setting.
• Certified Surgical Technologist or equivalent certification (e.g., CST).
• CPR/BLS within 14 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Prepare the operating room and surgical team for procedures.
• Set up surgical equipment and instruments for a variety of surgeries.
• Assist the surgical team and maintain a sterile environment.
• Collaborate with the OR team to ensure patient safety and efficiency.
• Communicate with Biomedical Services regarding equipment status and maintenance.
• Educate staff on proper care of instrumentation and equipment.
