Job summary

Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center in Houston, TX is seeking a Surgical Technologist to help prepare the operating room and assist the team for a variety of procedures, ensuring sterility and patient safety.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED at hire.
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
• Minimum 3 years of surgical technologist experience in acute care.
• Certified Surgical Technologist or equivalent credentials at hire.
• CPR/Basic Life Support within 14 days.

Responsibilities

• Sets up surgical equipment and instruments for procedures.
• Assists the surgical team and maintains a sterile environment.
• Collaborates with the OR team to support diverse procedures.
• Adapts quickly to changing cases and patient needs.
• Communicates with Biomedical Services about equipment status.
