Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of recent, continuous experience as a Surgical Technologist in an acute care hospital setting, directly supporting a broad range of surgical specialties.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential or equivalent.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification.
• Demonstrated aseptic technique and sterility maintenance.
• Ability to transfer knowledge to team and support patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Set up operating room and surgical instruments for procedures.
• Assist surgical team and ensure sterile environment throughout procedures.
• Maintain sterile field and promptly address breaks in sterility.
• Assist with patient positioning and wound care post-operation.
• Coordinate equipment and supplies; communicate with Biomedical Services for maintenance.
• Contribute to process improvements and in-service coordination.
